Nothing earth-shattering in the garden
trap over the last two nights, highlights from the 24 species caught included Calybites phasianipennella (maybe the 6th
or 7th Glamorgan record), Acleris
sparsana, Udea ferrugalis, Cypress
Carpet, Brick, Merveille du Jour, Large Ranunculus, Large Yellow Underwing and Square-spot
Rustic. Small numbers of the rather nondescript
plant bug Pinalitus cervinus present
in both sessions.

Nice to see phasianipennella, Barry. Did you take any other shots of it?
ReplyDeleteSorry Chris, the pics are a bit soft as they were taken through the glass of the pot
ReplyDeleteThanks, Barry. I wouldn't have recognised this form from my book so it would be great to add it to the subs list for a future reprint if that's ok with you. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteOf course, you know you're always welcome to use any of my images.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Barry.
