Epinotia fraternana?
Netted this potential first for Glam on Tuesday. Any comments welcome.

  1. Sid, Nice find. Looking at Die Tortriciden (Razowski), it looks good, however the paler form of E. tedella has very similar markings. The example [E. fraternana] given on UK Moths isn't as bright as your photograph, but the markings look okay. The flight time is June/July but given the weather recently many species are flying earlier, and I find microlep flight periods rather ambiguous anyway. It is a fir feeder. Best let DJS have a look.

  3. Dave, i have kept the spec for him. I have had E. Tedella in the same pine wood before which is why i am calling it a "possible" for now.
