Excellent trapping here last night too. 77 identified species, and a few in the fridge to look at later so count will be in the low 80's by the time I have been through that lot!
5 new for the garden: Crescent Plume, Ancylis achatana, Barred Straw, Coronet and Small Yellow Wave. Earlier in the week were Figure of Eighty, new for the garden and Mottled Beauty form conversaria which I haven't seen before.
It's also worth looking at the ground beetles which occasionally turn up in the trap if you have a key. One from the 11th has keyed out as Ophonus ardosaicus, I will need to get it confirmed, but it could be the 3rd welsh record of a national B species.
