Found these two mines on Caucasian Ash (
Fraxinus angustifolia ssp.
oxycarpa) in the gardens today: The silver upperside and rolled leaf tip is said to be characteristic of
Caloptilia cuculipennella and the yellowy-brown pustule at the start of the linear blotch mine is said to be characteristic of the Agromyzid fly
Aulagromyza heringii. Unfortunately neither mine was occupied and given both appear to be scarce (or poorly recorded) I'll leave them undetermined unless someone advises otherwise.
