I don't know what I was thinking of when I worked out the species totals for the Winter GMS table, but the figures are as wrong as they could be. The correct figures are given below.

Far more realistic figures I think you'll agree.
Interesting results Mark. It seems surprising that you had more moths during the two really hard winters of 2009-10 and 2010-11 than in the two milder ones since. Maybe the terrible summer weather last year is the reason this winter's been so poor - it must have an impact on the caterpillars of the species which fly in the winter.
