National Moth night Friday 9th Aug

Kilvey Hill, Swansea
No tigers, no migrants on a patch of boggy heather but did see Small Chocolate-tip, Beautiful Yellow Underwing, Aristotelia ericinella, pale and dark forms of Dioryctria simplicella, several Scalloped Hook-tip including a female, Phyllonorycter hilarella and my first two Sallows of autumn.

  1. Some nice records there Chris - good reward for trapping somewhere a little different!
