caterpillar query
No moths but I found this when sweeping the lake off my decking this afternoon. Best I can find is Small Angle Shades ... but open to correction.

Yes could well be the brown form of Angle Shades, though brown noctuid larvae are hard to name with certainty (ditto the green ones!).
ReplyDeleteWell ... we'll find out when the moth emerges, assuming the rain soaked creature survives to pupate.
