Just the one moth in the trap yesterday morning - a chestnut - but nice to see a couple of butterflies on the wing in the sunshine today - a comma and a red admiral around Pentyrch/Morganstown.
We were optimistic setting the trap last night and got absolutely nowt in it this morning, well a heavy frost but cheered by a singing Siskin in the garden.

ReplyDeleteI was hoping for butterflies too, but none seen - just a queen bumble and the hoverfly Episyrphus balteatus.
