More from Merthyr Mawr

I trapped in a new location on Tuesday night - in a slack full of creeping willow. I caught around 50 species in total - not as many as Paul (perhaps because I was futher from trees) but with a few nice species. Archer's Dart (c. 50) and Green Carpet (c. 30) were especially numerous.

A nice form of Archer's Dart
Phyllonorycter quinqueguttella (creeping willow feeder)
A Bactra I'm hoping will be something other than lancealana
A worn Caryocolum marmorea

  1. George, I'm hoping that you identify your Bactra sp. because I've one very similar from Wednesday night, although my photos aren't as clear as yours.
