Last night in Senghenydd

A total of 15 species in the trap this morning including my first ever Muslin Moth (2). Is this a new species for ST19? Also Shoulder Stripe, Water Carpet, Ruby Tiger, Nut-tree Tussock (5) Foxglove Pug and Flame Shoulder.

Am I correct in thinking this micro is Acleris cristana?

  1. This looks more like the commoner A. hastiana to me Tony, but both species have many variations. The wing shape looks closer to Cristana but Hastiana can sometimes show this feature also.

  2. It looks like cristana to me, given the slightly concave costa.
