Senghenydd last night

A damp, mild night produced 26 species including Burnished Brass (3), Grey Arches, True Lover's Knot, Double Line (5) and July Highflyer. Most abundant  species was Triple-spotted Clay (13).

Also had this plume, which  I think is Amblyptilia punctidactyla?... confirmation appreciated.
Edit - Second thoughts on this one. I favoured punctidactyla over acanthadactyla to begin with, but less sure now - could be either one as far as I'm concerned.

  1. It may be Tony but i'm not sure, yours seems to have a bit more white spotting, which suggests Punctidactyla but the abdomen markings look the same as my photo.
