Lunar Hornet at last!

I have been monitoring the willow in my daughter's garden for years and keep missing them. Yesterday morning there was one but it had obviously struggled to get out, but this morning there was this pristine beauty posing beautifully.
Also just had confirmation from Bob Heckford that a small brown job in Cwmdonkin Park, Swansea last Friday that came to my trap on a 'Bat & Moth Evening' is very probably Pseudatemelia josephinae, based mainly on the July trap date, and the lack of records for P. flavifrontella. I didn't keep the moth long enough to check the abdomen colour.
