Our Bridgend garden last night

At the fifth attempt this year, we finally caught some moths! 13 of six species: Oak Beauty, Brindled Beauty, Common quaker, Clouded Drab, Hebrew Character and Early Grey. A really nice spring collection.
The Oak Beauty was only the second we've caught since 2004, the last being in 2012.

  1. Nice to see Brindled Beauty on the wing. The earliest I've seen them in the garden is mid April.
