  1. Just checked Mapmate and A. croesella appears to be the third county record. So i should add that there were 3 females on a Wild privet bush. They were just west of kissing gate 5.

  2. That's exactly where I saw fibulella a year or two ago. Never seen croesella though - a good find.

  3. George, i have been looking for A. fibulella here since seeing your record. I have had no luck on the castle itself, this one was just 10 metres from the main road, where the footpath leads down from the church.

  4. Paul, I have 11 records on my database - still a nice record though.

  5. Barry, my mapmate has not been updated for a year or so, Martyn tried updating it for me a few weeks ago without success. Thanks for that.

  6. For some reason I only have 2 records on my MapMate, and it should be fairly up to date!

  7. There are two issues here. Firstly, I think there is a confusion over which species we are talking about. I've got 6 croesella records and 11 fibulella records. So I think Barry was talking about fibulella, whilst George is talking about croesella!

That asside, the records that are missing from George's & Paul's copies of MapMate are 'installation' records - set to gen of 1 and don't get synced. This is an artefact of the way MapMate was originally being distributed. I'll see about getting these records re-synced when I'm in the office next week.
