Northern Germany!

Here's a few snaps of some moths from Northern Germany (Hamburg area). The first looks like a Forester, and the second Yponomeuta plumbella, but the others I haven't been able to id. If anyone does happen to know what they are I would be grateful, but I'm not expecting miracles!

  1. No3 is a Blood vein and No5 looks like Spruce carpet.

  2. Thanks Paul - I wondered about Blood vein, as it didn't have the red colouration to the cross line, but there is nothing else that comes close!

  3. I suppose the 'Forester' could equally be Cistus or Scarce Forester. Don't think there are any other similar species on the near continent.
