Bridgend 30/07/16

40 moths of 25 species caught overnight including new for the year: Crambus perlella, Barred Fruit-tree Tortrix, Sallow Kitten (first since 2013), Small Fan-footed Wave, Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing and The Clay.

I've also added a photo here of a pretty hoverfly (Meliscaeva auricollis) we had recently in the garden.

Also I know this isn't a moth, but on a WCBS Survey near Ewenny later that day, I chanced across a Beautiful Demoiselle - new for me.
