Hi Dave - I think you are spot on with the Argyresthia, thanks for looking at it. Also just curious about the Hoary Footman - do you know if it is lkely to be a migrant or a lcal breeding population?
Hoary Footman is on the increase generally, and no longer restricted to coastal cliffs. Yours could easily be a resident, but there is no real way to tell.
