Creigiau last week

The last  week has been mild and windy, but the moth trap has gone out for GMS with quite reasonable results.

The first box produced 24 species, of which 9 were new for the year. Highlights were Alder Kitten, Orange Footman, Scalloped Hazel and my first ever Grey Birch.

The second box produced 16 species, with 5 new for the year. Highlights were Dark-barred Twin-spot Carpet, Depressaria radiella (I think) and Pyrausta purpuralis.

Also had a couple of micros and some Pugs that I have not been able to ID but I'll post those separately.
