Argyresthia cupressella Bridgend today

I found this tiny moth on our outside kitchen door this afternoon (10mm length). I initially thought it was Hawthorn Moth which we've had before, the colours fooled me and I needed my glasses! However, after popping it on UK Micro Moths on Facebook its been suggested to me it is the adventive Argyresthia cupressella. I can see it is on the county list but how frequent is it and has anyone else had one?

  1. It's certainly getting commoner in my Cardiff garden. I'm getting up to 5 a night this year.

  2. I've had three this month so far, but only singles here in Llandaff. They were new to the garden too.

  3. Becoming commoner, but still only in south Wales: http://aderyn.lercwales.org.uk/public/distribution/10k/results?taxon_dict_id=77682
