Our Bridgend garden night of 5th July
127 moths of 48 species, another good night, the highlights for us being three new species for the garden: Blastobasis lacticolella, Leopard Moth and Clouded Brindle, taking the garden list to 415 species. We also recorded many new species for the year including Small Magpie, Dark Fruit-tree Tortrix, Brown China-mark, Udea prunalis, Acleris forsskaleana, Carcina quercana, Currant Pug, Rosy Footman, Grey Dagger, Coronet, Marbled Beauty, Common Rustic (agg) and Silver Y.
