Just 23 species last night, the most numerous unsurprisingly being LYU with a total of 92. A single Scarce Bordered Straw was the only non-routine fare.
For once I outscored you, with 28 species here in Llandaff North (probably because the rain arrived later). Nothing as exciting as Scarce Bordered Straw though.
Minor highlights were Cypress Pug (2), Old Lady (2), Dusky Thorn and Mompha propinquella.
Keep vigilant is the motto, last time we had Scarce Bordered Straw, you helped identify one of them as Eastern! We saw a helice Clouded Yellow at Gileston yesterday so migrants are around!
