Argyresthia trifasciata ?

Just picked this off the wall outside the kitchen window. Never seen one before, but looks very distinctive - so I'm reasonably confident with my ID. Taken a quick snap but will try for better pics tomorrow.

I put the box out on Sunday night in reasonable conditions and trapped a single Common Quaker ! In the awful weather that we had yesterday I found 3 moths on windows and doors, each of which would be new for me if my IDs are correct. Confirmation/correction would be appreciated.

If this is Depressaria daucella, then I may need to revisit some of my past images/IDs of Parsnip Moth. The grid is 2mm.

Fairly confident that this is Clouded-bordered Brindle.

 I think this could be Mompha epilobiella. The grid here is 1mm.

Square-spot rustic?

I struggle with caterpillars but is this a square-spot rustic? Found on a scrubby grassland site near Aberdare.

Creigiau - last night and this evening

Can't compete with that pretty little moth found by Chris, but .....

I put the box out late last night, after the last light shower had passed. The rest of the night was dry and cloudy with a min temp of 7.5C so was really disappointed to find a single Common Quaker all alone in the box and then a possible Depressaria daucella on the window in the kitchen.

We have had torrential rain since late afternoon, and I have just got soaked 'sorting' the bins but I found a possible Mompha epilobiella on the inside garage window and then a moth (possible Clouded-bordered Brindle) landed on the door in front of me as I was coming back in!

Both of these, and the D. daucella would be new for me so I'll take some pics in the morning and post them here to check my identifications. Very confused ...

Gowerton kitchen

This tiny thing, about 4-5 mm, was flying in the kitchen this morning. I managed to get a pic before it disappeared again but the nearest to an ID I can get would be Tuta absoluta, the tomato pest. Any thoughts anyone? If I see it again I'll try to keep it.

Gowerton last night

Put the trap on in the garden for the Garden Moth Scheme in spite of the damp and windy forecast. Rewarded with 7 moths, all different species, including this Ochreous Pug which is new for my garden, and the first Flame Shoulder of the year.
