Cwmbach GMS

After recording 100mm of rain in the previous 48hrs and cool, windy night (a wind chill of -1.00C on the hill above here, at dawn), it came as no surprise to find only three moths in the trap: Silver-ground Carpet, Buff Ermine and Flame Shoulder.

    Only two species for me in Llandaff North - Flame Shoulder (1) and Heart & Dart (3). Probably my worst ever June catch in the garden.
