Highlight Park, Barry, 27th July

Wasn't sure if there would be much in the trap with the heavy rain and wind although there were plenty of calm periods overnight. Ended up with 79 moths of 39 species - much better than recent catches thanks to the absence of the thieving Moon!

Highlights were Toadflax Brocade, any other records of this recently outside of Cardiff?

And another Jersey Tiger - tally of these now four in total for the garden. After the first pale type trapped last week the remaining ones have had the more traditional red hindwings.
