The Vile (above Fall Bay)

49 species were recorded last night at the Vile, Rhossili, highlights being Agonopterix purpurea, A. subpropinquella, A. rotundella, Pyrausta ostrinalis, Grass Eggar (3), Mullein Wave (13), Annulet, Shark (late), Hedge Rustic & Common Wainscot.

not checked this, but presumably just an odd Flounced Rustic

    Sounds like a good night, Barry. Not seen an Elephant Eggar myself but I'll keep an eye out!
