Oranges again

Casehill Woods, Dinas Powys this evening - Orange Underwing new for ST17.

They were much more sparse here than in some areas north of Cardiff - 4 were seen in about an hour of searching, compared with 10-15 flying together in Greenmeadow Wood (Tongwynlais) last week.

Also 5 Commas.

  1. Mike Powell had an OU/w at Llanishen Reservoir 28/03, the first record for Cardiff inner city, they do occur in Cardiff UA: Coed-y-Bedw & Garth Mt. Although they are still absent from ST17.
