2 Orange Underwings and 1 Small Tortoiseshell at Oxwich today.
Yesterday, Rosemary Mason emailed to say that she'd seen Clouded Yellow at Penmaen plus 10 Brimstones on the walk out to Whiteford.
I take it back. It appears that Clouded Yellows have appeared in several counties across the UK this spring, and not in association with any notable migrant activity. These are all thought to be the result of successfully overwintered larvae.
Really? I've not seen any reports of migrant activity.
