Lisvane Res

Peacock [2], Small Tortoiseshell [2], Brimstone & Green-veined White all flying in the sunshine around the reservoir this pm.

  1. Excellent - that GVW is the first report I've heard of a spring-emerging species in Wales. About time too.

    I had a Peacock in the Black Mountains on a windy ridge at 500m!

  2. I have yet to see a butterfly, this year. Martin Bevan saw a Brimstone a couple of days ago.
