Merthyr mawr leaf mines.

                 Stigmella spinosissimae on Burnet rose.

                 Stigmella spinosissimae, underside.

                 Phyllonorycter strigulatella on Grey alder.
                 + underside below.  Both are uncommon but hopefully my IDs are correct.

    Nice finds Paul. I see there are 3 similar Stigmella on rose so if you can rear this through I could try to squeeze it into the next reprint. Or,if you get the chance, send me a leaf and I'll have a go, though rearing mines does not always work well for me!
