Trapped on the 1st May. 12 species altogether including White-pinion Spotted, Shuttle-Shaped Dart and Coleophora albicosta. There were also several photos below for ones that I haven't been able to pin down definitively... Can anyone help with these?

Possibly Cochylimorpha straminea? |
1: Agree with C ulicetana.
ReplyDelete2: I think it's Dark-barred Twin-spot Carpet, but I'm not 100% sure it's not Red TSC.
3 & 4: It's a Dichrorampha, possibly acuminatana but these are tricky and it would probably need dissecting to be sure.
5: Agree with C straminea.
Many thanks for taking the time to look at this George. Pleased I got a couple right, but a bit surprised I'm getting Pugs and Carpets mixed up! Think it's because it's a very light coloured specimen compared to the pics I can find online. At least that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
DeleteFor what it's worth, I agree with George on all counts.
