Parc Slip case-bearer

This little chap was walking around on one of our picnic benches last week - is it possible to identify it to species by any chance?
Coleophora sp.?

    Without the foodplant, I'd say unlikely.

    Have a hunt around the adjacent plants. Try Red Clover for example as it *could* be deauratella. The pale tip to the valves make them easier to spot in the clover flower heads.
