Senghenydd last night

This Broom-tip was the highlight of an otherwise disappointing catch of just 4 species. This is the 6th year in succession that the species has been recorded in my garden. A Brindled Pug was also new for the year.

  1. Amazingly variable catches last night - from your 4 species to Adam's amazing 37. I was somewhere in the middle with 17.

I think it may partly be due to Adam's coastal garden being slightly earlier than everywhere else - a few days earlier emergence can make a lot of difference at this time of year.

  2. Amazing's the word George - 37 species would be a decent catch for late June in my garden.
