Creigiau - last night/today

Put the trap out at the weekend and last night, but with the night-time temperatures dropping to single figures the numbers weren't brilliant - 37 moths of 21 species on Saturday night and 26 moths of 18 species last night. Seven species were new for the year - Pandemis cerasana, Blastobasis adustella, Dot Moth, Double Square-spot, Green Pug, Buff Arches & Udea olivalis.

Also found a few of these caterpillars munching away on the leaves of the wallflower plants - possibly Diamond-backs ?? They are approx 6mm long.
