Two reasonable catches in the garden last week - 60 moths of 36 species on Tuesday and 91 moths of 49 species on Friday. Two were new for me - Pammene fasciana (if my ID is correct) and one I couldn't identify. Five others were new for the year - Dun-bar, Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing, Four-spotted Footman (male), Lesser Yellow Underwing and Swallow Prominent.

Pammene fasciana ? |
Don't know what this is, so would be grateful for assistance with ID (2mm squares)
Great photos Howard, that's the wonderfully skinny Batrachedra praeangusta. And yes, Pammene fasciana.
ReplyDeleteThanks George.
