Noticed this little beastie on the garden fence at lunchtime today. The best match I can find is Endothenia nigricostana - but that appears to be not too common in these parts so I'm probably hopelessly wrong! Assistance with ID would be greatly appreciated. (the background grid is 2mm)
That looks right to me - what a stunner! I bump into them occasionally by day in our garden in Carmarthenshire, but they are much more reclusive than, for example, Celypha lacunana or Dichrorampha spp.
