28 P. xylostella in the garden MV last night, double my previous best count here, among a smaller catch of 18 species. The only other minor highlight was second garden record of Spotted Shoot Moth Rhyacionia pinivorana.
Only 3 Diamond-backs here in Llandaff, also a Rhyacionia pinivorana, new for Garden. I'm still waiting for things to kick into gear. Last year Started around 11th June with the Striped Hawk. So any day now.
None in the box on Tuesday night in Creigiau, but I counted 17 in one of the flower beds early this evening ... pretty sure they weren't there this morning ... and also several others in the grass and other beds.
I had nearly 100 Diamond-backs last night. No other migrants though.
