Central Roath

Firstly, nice to see a few fellow trappers in the Vale last night. Although Mike & myself were trapping down in the Alun Valley and not with the BC group. Several nice moths recorded during the evening.
I had a good trap last night, best of year with species logged & numbers, including a rather smart Toadflax Brocade! Following on from the Gwent record (May 27th) & the Llandaff record (July 4th), we may have to consider that a colony may exist between Newport & Cardiff. This species has expanded its range in England.

  1. Quality. Hopefully we will see the odd one down west in good time, once they navigate their way through the bustling metropolis! Well done.
