Our Bridgend garden last night

Despite relatively cool conditions 40 species (103 individuals) were recorded.

The highlight was a lifer in the form of Double Dart (British 500th) and another new for the garden in what looks like Scoparia ambigualis. Others new for the year were Blastobasis adustella, Buff Arches, V-Pug, Clouded Border, Green Arches and Burnished Brass taking our year tally of species for the garden to 129.

Scoparia ambigualis?

Notocelia rosaecolona?

  1. Nice, I don't think I've seen Double Dart in Cardiff. The two micros look good to me.
