Maesteg last night

I lent my skinner trap to Tony Handley last night. He has
a nice piece of overgrown wasteland next to his garden and
on inspection this morning 54 species were left in the trap.
Elephant and Poplar hawkmoths and 3 Garden tigers amongst
others have piqued his interest enough to order a trap of his
own to start mothing. As is usually the case, his first session
produced a goodie,  this Pine shoot moth, a lifer for me and
the 890th species to be recorded in the Llynfi valley.
