Parc Slip (belatedly)

Like many of you i trapped on the very warm monday evening that we had this week and i'm only just getting round to blogging about it (partly because of how many moths i caught). I think it will probably be my most productive night at Parc Slip so far with over 110 species recorded and a few Scoparines and pugs accidentally (mostly) escaping...
A number of firsts for me with small yellow wave, pretty chalk carpet, lychnis and turnip apparently not having been caught here (at least by me) and similarly brown plume, Phtheochroa inopiana, Coptotriche marginea, Glyphipterix thrasonella, Blastodacna hellerella and Metzneria metzneriella being new to the list. I also had my second ever Valerian pug and round-winged muslin.

Unsurprisingly plenty of FFY (at least 16sp.) including dusky brocade, satin wave, dot moth, herald and tawny-barred angle. I also had a selection of other species in the trap including an azure damselfly, Rhagonycha fulva, cream-spot ladybird and a glow-worm...

A few micros i would appreciate a hand with please:
1.Hedya nubiferana
2.Not sure

3. Not sure
4.Mompha locupletella

5. Notocelia incarnatana
6. Cochylis hybridella

Thanks Paul for your help on wednesday with some of these and apologies if you've already told me any of these - i lost track of what we said...

  1. I think 2 is P. inopiana. 3 is C.hybridella. 5 is N. rosaecolana and 6 is E. angustana Vaughn.

  2. Good work on No 2 Paul, I'd never have worked that out.

3 doesn't look right for hybridella to me but I don't have a better suggestion!

I think 5 is N. trimaculana - costal striae are few and not very oblique.
