A Visitor to Port Eynon

I am visiting Port Eynon from Buckinghamshire for the week, so will be trapping here in my parent's garden.

Last night, I ran an MV / Skinner and caught probably around 500 moths (not easy to count everything - but there were high numbers of Dark Arches , Buff Ermine, Grey Dagger agg and Heart & Dart), including new at least for my year list:

Leopard Moth (lifer)
Plain Golden Y
Eyed Hawk-moth
Swallowtail
Scalloped Oak
Phoenix
Bright-line Brown-eye
Barred Straw
Bordered White
Gold Spot
Cypress Carpet (lifer)
Dot Moth
Light Arches
L-Album Wainscot (lifer)
Small Fan-foot
Clay
True Lovers Knot
Lackey

plus a few in the fridge tbi.

Here's to a good week's mothing holiday!
