Gorseinon

Micros featured more strongly than of late in last night’s haul of 85 species in the garden trap (I decided to run the 400w bulb as it was a good night). Remarkably 3 new species for the site were recorded, taking us unofficially to 700 species! (though none of them are easy species so any comments on the id’s welcome, but I'm pretty comfortable with them). The highlights included Hollyhock Seed Moth 1, Bilberry Tortrix 1 (New), Lozotaenia forsterana 3, Red-barred Tortrix 1, Epiblema costipunctana 1 (New), Pammene regiana 1, Grapholita tenebrosana 1 (New), Meal Moth 1, Amblyptilia acanthadactyla 1, Freyer's Pug 1 and Double Line 8.
